Bulgaria and Sweden still have seven male competitors in the Europen Open, and are ahead of Great Britain and Ireland who count with six each. Iceland is also making a great performance with five athletes in competition, two of them will fight against each other tomorrow in the Light Heavyweight division.
Finished the second day of competition in Prague, Czech Republic, the MMA federations of Bulgaria and Sweden are in the lead in terms of male athletes in the competition. Both have seven fighters, in seven different categories for the Bulgarians. Sweden also has seven fighters, but two of them are in the Flyweight division. They count on Tobian Harila (Lightweight), Daniel Shalander (Welterweight), Rostem Akman (Middleweight), Dennis Rayden e Serdan Atlas (Flyweight), Robin Larsson (Light Heavyweight) and Irman Smajic (Heavyweight). The bulgarians have two medalists in the roster, Tencho Karaenev (Light Heavyweight) and Daniel Galabarov (Heavyweight), but also put their efforts on Nikolay Nikolov (Welterweight), Ferdun Osmanov (Lightweight), Rostislav Raichev (Bantamweight), Valeri Atasanov (Middleweight) and Atanas Krastanov in Super Heavyweight. Two of the most powerfull federations in the european and world amateur panorama, Great Britain and Ireland, still have six participants each. Up next comes Iceland with five fighters, unfortunatelly two of the them will fight each other tomorrow, Egill Hjordisarsson and Bjarni Kristjánsson in the Light Heavyweight division. With four athletes comes Italy and Norway. The always competitive Poland has two fighters and the both Russia and United States, who are making their debut in the European Open, still have one competitor each.
